Classes at Hallowell Clay Works

At our NEW LOCATION!
134 Water Street 3rd floor, above Merrill's Book Store

We offer hand-building and wheel-throwing classes for beginners and advanced students. Our classes are limited to 8 students to maximize individual attention. Our teachers are committed to your learning and will meet you where you are.

We encourage creativity and discovery as we show you the many possibilities there are with clay. We welcome beginners in a casual atmosphere and encourage questions. Our mission is for you to relax, enjoy and create.

Malley At The Wheel

Watch as Malley throws a large mug...from "wedging" the clay at the table to "centering", to "opening", to final shaping.
Thank you for your patience.
